Brought up just outside Tewkesbury on the Severn but only started barbel fishing in Nov 06 (if only I'd known about it before!). I now live 'down sarf' but head home to fish the Severn whenever I get the chance. I caught my PB of 12lb 15oz from the Lower Severn in February 07 so am now on the hunt to push it over 13lb - it could take some time!! Am currently fishing the Lower Severn, Warks Avon, Wye and the Western Rother.
